Bacardi Superior

I’m old enough that I was in the first wave of people who could drink when they lowered the drinking age to 18, back in 1973. This was the rum that everybody drank. Older and wiser now, and I do not drink it anymore!

As white rum goes, it’s not terrible. In a mojito or daiquiri, it works. It’s flavours are not exceptional, and it won’t accent any cocktail, but it gets the job done as well as a cheap, mass produced rum can.

Few aromas, stingy alcoholic note. A little better and less stingy than Bacardi white carte blanche.

Seems necessary to have on hand - only used for mixed drinks for company that doesn’t actually like rum. Not bad in a fresh mojito

Rum vhodný pre svoj charakter len do miešanych napojov. Neodporúčam piť samotný,príliš mu nepomôže ani limetka a ľad. Naozaj ho beriem len ako barmansku pomôcku.

Go to rum when I want to have at with a coke. Add a splash of roses lime juice to add a little tartness.

Just for cleaning, dissolving or murdering purposes. Boozy with no taste.
