Zafra Master Reserve 21

There are better and more luxurious rums out there, but this is a bargain. One of the best when it comes to value for money. When all is said the Zafra 30 is in a class of its own compared to the 21, but also way more expensive.

Not too sweet, very smooth. I love the wood/smoke flavor and long lasting after taste. Great rum. Slightly better and more complex than Zacapa 23 Solera.

Not quite up with some of the other rums I’ve had, but decidedly drinkable and a good value for the price.

A bit of wood in the nose and then when you taste it. WOW! My first 10 and it's not even enough. Zafra has everything that I look for in a rum. A bit of sweetnes, not a strong afterburn and a good aftertaste. Well done!

I have tasted it together with older version and that I consider as one of best I ever had. 21y version is also so great, maybe little less smooth but on the other hand more fresh and intensive taste. And with the price of Zapaca 23... Come on, this one is level up. For me 8.7 thus I give 9 considering price and competition at this tier. Go for it!

Very subtle taste of oak and molasses, great hint of bourbon.

Excellent rum with fantastic flavors of Vanilla, toffee, and nuttiness. Long lasting flavors that keep you sipping.

Right up there with with some of the better quality Rums I have had. Great value!
Don’t miss out on this one.

This is a very good rum which flows very softly and mild through your throat. It has marvelous tastes but is not as sweet as I like my rums! I had to let it breath for at least 20 minutes to be able to drink it neet and trying to enjoy it. It is a perfect rum, but I am not that professional yet to deal with it because of the strong burn and lack of sweetness.

Total Wine had this rated at 95 and at $48 I thought I'd give it a try. Very nice full flavored rum.
