An old standby, not expensive, first introduced in the United States in 1984. A big draw when it came out was the pirate on the label. It was founded in Jamaica in 1944 by the Seagrams Company. Some may prefer it just over ice, but personally I only like it with cola. Reformulated in 2023 to include Madagascar vanilla. Comes in 70 and 100 proof. $17.00 to $23.00 a bottle here in Pennsylvania at the State Store.

If you have Chairman's Reserve Spiced in PA, do yourself a favor and ditch the Captain...

I liked Captain Morgan Black, it's a shame that's discontinued.

Sailor Jerry seems popular and cheap but I find that the least interesting so far as spiced rums go.

I'm on the look out to try Brinley Gold Shipwreck Spiced 4-year if I can ever find it though.   Seems to be well liked.

W00t! Was at a local grocery store's adjacent liquor section.  Of course everything is over priced so I rarely go in, but they carry 4 varieties of Brinley Gold Shipwreck at $30/bottle:   Spiced, Coconut, Vanilla and Coconut Cream.

I want to buy them all based on the ratings here, but not the price.  Spiced will come first though.
