Jeg syntes virkelig den har en god smag. Den er hverken rigtig blød eller skarp, bare god.

Udgivet i 2018. 58,3 %. Marque SWR.

I have tried many rums but this one is simply amazing!

After letting it breathe for some time it smells a little like a quality Pedro Ximénez sherry. Raisins, dark chocolate, caramel and wood without any alcoholic sharpness.
It fills your mouth with wonderful aromas of dried fruits, seasalt, burned caramel, wood and leather with some delicious floral bitterness at the end.

This is by far the most full bodied rum I have tasted till now and except some high ester rums the most intense tasting experience. The price is high, but it is worth every penny! I will definitely buy one or two bottles extra before it is sold out.

Everything that one can expect from a fine, tropic-matured Demerara rum. No flaws. That sweet-sour, molasses, Christmas cake, dark chocolate, mocha coffee, aromatic wood...WOW.

This one is the best rum I have ever had. Chocolate meets caramell, wood and fruits such as coconut and banana. I could smell it forever before drinking it.

The brother of the Skeldons 2001 S.B.S. ,but with many nuances.
A very similar nose, with brown sugar and vanilla. More sweetness.

Magnificently dark and lively on the palate, deep and elegant.

A long, rich finish.
The empty glass reveals more fruit and a slight smokiness. It's like being in a private English club, with old varnished wood, a fireplace and cracked leather armchairs.

More balanced than the Enmore 1996.

To my knowledge, it is one of the only five rums representing the SVR/SWR mark. Bottled at 58.3%, it welcomes with an intense aroma. The initial sensations are dominated by Guyaneese molasses and nail polish remover, which is followed by dust and petrol. It was a pleasant surprise to smell coke, blown-off candles and the aroma of the forest: resin and cones. The aromas develop with time, bringing to the nose kitchen spices; herbs, marjoram, oregano and thyme. Notes of coffee start to appear, interplaying with the coke, as the whole sensation shifts to fruity and dessert notes; orange, dried apricot, nougat, chocolate, brown sugar and warm wood, concluded with an industrial metallic smell. After letting the rum breathe for an hour a surprise appears: a smell of bacon, burnt fat and meat, which anticipates an extremely interesting flavour profile.

The initial mouth sensation is rich and astonishing, simultaneously offering coffee, cocoa, and the sweet and salty taste. Surprisingly, notes of bacon appear, balanced by the sourness of wood. The burn of high ABV is entirely absent as we are stunned by the variety and intensity of flavours. The taste turns sweeter with time, bringing to mind Werther's Original caramel candies, molasses and coconut. Finish is composed of dried fruits, dry wood, accompanied by coffee and molasses. Dried fruits return in the warming-up aftertaste, among which orange is the most pronounced.

This is clearly one of the most interesting rums I've tried, doubtlessly meeting the high expectations connected to the name of Skeldon. This tasting made me desire to try other SVR/SWR marks.

Name is for scotland and rightly so, this tastes like a sweet whiskey with a very smooth finish

Příjemná vůně, chuť nasladla, plna, lehce štiplavý, ale vše krásně vybalancovano. Za mě moc příjemný kousek
