This rum is great in price 20/750ml, and is well distributed. I get a rounded vanilla and Christmas spice on the nose. It has a wonderful mouthfeel and is heavy on a butterscotch flavor with a clean rounded finish. If you can get it at your local Costco it's 100% worth a try.
Пивал это ром много раз, его вкус запоминается сразу и забыть его невозможно! Очень чувствуется бочка бурбона и аромат ванили. Очень легко пьётся в чистом виде и очень хорош в коктейлях. И цена вообще супер 👍
A perfectly suitable white rum for cocktails. Cheap and available.
- relatively smooth and clean compared to older El Dorado rums, looks like filtering really does the trick here
- pretty full-flavored, it tastes like a Demerara rum; I'm getting notes of vanilla and white chocolate, and a certain sour/joghurt component that really elevates the rum for me. I've had several longer-aged, unfiltered and more expensive rums that had less taste!
- the alcohol taste is more in the foreground than in older El Dorado rums, but it's not a problem at all because it's still quite flavorful and I can't detect any off notes
- the aromas cut through quite well in cocktails
- very good value
This is easily one of my favourite rums!
Vanilla and sweet notes. Very pleasing, sweet taste. A bit harsh on the nose and palate while neat. Give it time to breathe, drop an ice cube or use this for cocktails. Affordable and versatile. Keep this bottle on your shelves.
Aroma: butternut lifesaver, yum! The taste is more like vanilla.
I think this would be good with cinnamon simple syrup and some peach juice, although that would likely not qualify as a tiki drink.

Not the best I’ve had, but far from the worst. Made a batch of Coquito using this and it seemed to do the trick.
There are traces of that sweet fruity Demerara.
"The sip is initially quite smooth but it quickly gives way to quite a strong alcohol burn in the mouth. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Thoughts: Not being excited by white rums we always find them a challenge to rate. The smell on this one is probably better than the taste. There's nothing wrong with the taste just not enough of it coming through but again this could be down to our likes of a rich, aged, dark rum. It's smooth enough to drink and on the rocks it allows the coconut to come through more. For £25 it's OK, just not the wow factor we'd look for.
Rating: 6/10
Smell - coconut, sugary sweet, cream,
Taste - hint of coconut, dry, initial light taste of nuts.
After Taste - Medium finish with grassy notes.
