This is 43° limited edition rum. Matured 8 years in ___ casks plus 4 years in dry Madeira cask.
I had consumed 3..4 bottles of some Madeira back to my students years and I liked it (never liked regular wine). Thanks El Dorado for providing time machine. At the first sip - jumped into the past.
I would say this is 50\50 Madeira\rum drink. 50 dry \ 50 oily; 50 mild \ 50 strong; 50 spicy \ 50 sweet. It's well balanced.
Neutral on nose, easy on palate and very unique at aftertaste - it does a little alcohol burn and then whole (elusive) spectrum of nuts, fruits, spices explodes and lasts forever.
Must try for rum connoisseur. (; Minus one point - world needs it at 55° :)
